Jackdaw Mullions & Frames by The Door Maker

Introducing Mullions frames Jackdaw, a cabinet door in the shaker style, featuring a distinctive recessed panel that can be adapted to any of our mullion frame designs. The V-groove along the inner edges of the stiles lends an edgy charm to this characterful door. Our mullions are compatible with various door panel profiles, including flat, raised, and shaker styles, and are available in minimum sizes corresponding to the original door ordered. Crafting a mullion door involves precise work, with rebates cut into frames, pressed with PVC, and then cut, adding a week to production time. The back of the mullion, with exposed MDF, should be painted before glass installation for protection. We provide a range of door styles, but do not supply glass, mirror, or wire mesh inserts. You can request a solid door front or panel by filling the mullion and frame. For optimal results, use a glass thickness of 0.125 (3mm) to 0.1875 (5mm), or 0.1875 (5mm) or greater for dimensions over 48. Our mullions and frames offer extensive customization with over 130 colors and thermofoil finishes for the surrounding frame.
